ln 1945, Mister Donat Gilbert (grandfather) founded Callway Sash and Door, manufacturing l-piece garage doors and guillotine '-windows.
He understood that he needed to associate with experienced businessmen in order to make his operation a success.
Following that, in the early 1960s, his son Hervé Gilbert founded his own company, St. -Michel Overhead Doors. Monsieur Gilbert was a pioneer in the manufacture of garage doors in Montréal.
Then, in 1980, after 35 years of experience, Monsieur Gilbert decided to specialize in the manufacture of high-quality cedar garage doors.
Michel Gilbert, grandson of Monsieur Donat Gilbert, continued the family tradition by founding his own company which specializes in the repair and installation of residential and residential and industrial garage doors.
Today, GARAGE DOOR M.G. has attained a very high level of growth with more than 1000 clients and a volume of business that has more than quintuple since the company's inception. We extend to all our clients and customers our most sincere thanks.
